Heidi’s loss of her father to brain cancer was a lengthy and painful experience, especially because in the end, he had no speech and had to write his thoughts down on paper until he couldn’t.

Her father was a much-loved person within his community and when he passed on, thousands paid their respects and mourned his death.

In retrospect, had she known that could have organized a Beautiful Goodbye™ event for him, she would have chosen to celebrate his life instead of mourn his death.
